SMS based browsing

My first post on this site relevant to the topic of this blog (randomness).

So I was texting on my phone and for some reason thought about how web browsing on a phone is so expensive.

What if someone wrote an autoresponse program for a certain number (1-800-free-web or something) where you texted that number and wrote the url in the subject field?

Interesting? Read more after the click.

Sample discourse:

So, eh?

Nice if you have unlimited texting and need to look up what color pigeons are and you’re in South Peninsularaqganistan, with no wifi and only cell phones

I’d love to hear your response, one reader of mine!
